If you tried to send out hundreds of the same email yourself via your own email you would end up getting blacklisted by your email host, and very few of the emails would reach the recipient.

Mailchimp is a e-marketing online company that sends out your emails for you using their own email network; so that they can ensure that the email gets delivered. You simply build up a contact list in your Mailchimp account, and you can create an email to send out to your contacts up to 6 times a month. You can view how many of your contacts have opened your email too!

Your past visitors: these should be one of your strongest marketing assets; after all they have already stayed at your accommodation – they are highly likely to return for subsequent visits – what is the best way to remind them about your accommodation? Email!

Potential guests: grow your contacts by adding people who are interested in your accommodation. The easiest way is to ask your site visitors to add themselves to your newsletter list, so that they hear about your latest offers and late availability.

Email is still considered one of the best way of marketing – but if you try and send multiple emails via your own email account you can get blacklisted and your home IP blocked for spamming!

Set Up Includes:

• We will set up your Email Marketing Account with Mailchimp (which allows you to have up to 2000 contacts free of charge)
• We will import your past guests as contacts (up to 2000) – simply provide us with your contacts’ First Name + Email Address  (must be in Excel.)
• We will set up a Email Template for you to use to send out special offers /late availability – You will be able to login to your account and send out your own email campaigns to your contacts (max number of send outs – 10 times per month)
• Optional (and our website customers only) – We will do the website integration: we will add a newsletter sign up area to your website’s footer or home page as well as a slider so that your website visitors can easily sign up to your list.
