Demo: Browser ChatGPT as a chatbot for your B&B website
This video demonstrates how ChatGPT would answer if it was installed on your own website, as a helpful chatbot assistant.
This is using just the free version (3.5) of ChatGPT, and has shown to work brilliantly.
Here is the text we used for the prompts:
Me:
I would like you to act as a information bank for potential guests at my B&B. I will paste in all the information about my B&B, and I’d like you to refer ONLY to the information I have provided, to answer questions I may have. Do you understand?
CHATGPT:
Of course, I understand. Please go ahead and provide me with all the information about your B&B, and I’ll make sure to refer only to that information when answering any questions you may have.
Me:
(I then copied and pasted a whole load of B&B info into the chat. I copied all of the home page, some of niche/usp articles, food page, booking page etc. The more info you can provide, the better. You don’t need to be neat either, just copy and paste it all in!
CHATGPT:
Certainly, I have reviewed the information you provided about your B&B. Feel free to ask any questions you may have based on the details you’ve shared.
Me:
Please answer as if you are the owner of the B&B to any questions, do you understand?
CHATGPT:

As you can see – ChatGPT not only answered correctly but also added some nice extra details that would be helpful and encouraging to the potential guest.
